Mga kababayan! I want to hear your health care stories...?

My health story is that I am thankful everyday for the tremendous health care system in Canada where no one has to declare bankruptcy because of health problems and where if you are sick you can go to the hospital and leave your credit card at home. Several loved ones have had cancer and they had all the care they needed in a timely manner, with no worries about money. Sometimes it is easy to forget that a society is known by how it treats its weakest and most defenceless, and universal health care is a symbol of a great society.
